I think I've improved majorly since last year; I feel much more confident with drawing faces and bodies then I did last year. The drawing on the right is good, but primitive compared to that of the left; 2014 Russia's style is me trying to emulate Hima's style and 2015 Russia is more of my own style. I feel my art has looked much better since I started coloring it and I think it shows above. I've become much more confident drawing in general since last year. Although, I think 2014 Russia has better shading then 2015 Russia; all in all though. I think I've improved a lot, just in the little things, and I can't wait to see how much better I get by this time next year! ^-^ Tell me what you think.

I honestly think the "before" picture looks better, but it's sometimes hard trying to find your own style. For me, I can only draw in my style; I couldn't draw like Himaruya even if I tried. I've also kind of changed my style as I've gone through different fandoms (and there were a few I was in where my drawings looked whack), but some things remain the same.
Drawing in a different style, your own new style or someone else's, takes practice. I'm not trying to say you've gotten worse; I'm saying there's probably more to figure out.

Anyway, I think both look great.
